I first heard about Linda Picone’s The Daily Book of Positive Quotations (Fairview Press, 2008) on a recent episode of Barely Controlled Radio with Jeff Reed and wanted to find a copy for myself.

The Daily Book of Positive Quotations is a small book with big inspiration and contain a wide variety of humorous, spiritual, encouraging, or provocative quotes. Common bonds among them are motivating readers while making them think.

Readers are invited to read a daily quotation and participate in discussions. There are positive quotes for each day of the year followed by brief sentences under each, offering starting points for readers to give their own perspectives on a quote’s message.

Another great feature in The Daily Book of Positive Quotations is its simple format that can fit in any time of the day, whether one needs a quick start in the morning or wish to end their day on an upward note. It’s a delightful read guaranteed to offer hope and uplifting spirit no matter what kind of day we have.

Not many things offer such positivity in our lives for ten dollars, and The Daily Book of Positive Quotations can be a wise investment.
